We have had thousands of visitors during the past week, and are excited, and grateful that the message of hope and change is so strong in our readers. Even those of you who haven’t experienced the Path, and therefore find some disagreement with our teachings, have sent scores of emails full of agreement and support for our overarching principles:

That everyone can change for the better.

That we are fighting a war against ignorance, deceit, and hate.

That until we change ourselves, we will only experience brief moments of happiness.

You don’t have to be an initiate to change yourself, you don’t have to follow Master Kurobi’s teachings to help the underprivileged, and volunteer. And you don’t need to walk the Path to fight ignorance, hate, and deceit.

The World Health Organization has declared that the H1N1 swine flu is officially a global pandemic. This is dismaying information, although it will have a far greater impact in the third world. The Society of Rebirth and Ascension urges you to take this news, and use it as motivation to keep yourself healthy.

Drink plenty of water, be sure to intake enough vitamin C, and exercise weekly. Currently, there is still no reason to be terribly concerned about swine flu, if you live in the United States, but there is no better time to start building up your immune system than now.

Every day, thousands of people ask questions about weight loss. Dieting and exercise have been made out to be some sort of mystery, when in fact, they are really simpler than the "simple diet" scams that the culture constantly tries to sell. There are two main issues with the diets and exercise systems we see on TV, and on scamsites -

One: They never tackle both sides, nutrition and exercise

It has been very interesting to watch the uneducated vitriol directed at our organization by those who have not even bothered to review our Q&A. As anyone who is part of an alternative group has experienced, the mass-culture is quick to condemn and judge. Some of that is due to the large number of scams and blatant rip-offs that exist on the internet. Guru’s claiming to have the key to passing into other dimensions, or plane hoping – outlandish tales that come with a steep price.

Master Kurobi, having experienced a transformation in his life, cannot understand such people. Who would charge another for information that will help them fulfill their personal story? We, now more than ever need to foster a global community of support and knowledge communication. It is the isolation of the individual from true discourse that has led to this dire state of affairs to begin with.

In the pages throughout this blog, the Society of Rebirth and Ascension offers helpful, wholesome methods of personal growth. In these times of economic uncertainty, it is important that you let your voice be heard in the local community. Regardless of your personal politics, you should exercise your rights as a citizen, make plans to attend your city council meetings, Parent Teacher conferences, and any local community events.

Too often we find that our needs are being ignored by the few, or those who simply know how to work the system and use it unjustly. Begin the process of educating yourself by searching for local laws, meeting times, and never fear to send an email or phone call to your state representative.

Although the SoRaA is focused on changing the internal, part of that requires you to recognize your value to society and take an active part in getting you and your communities needs met. We wish you the best in your pursuit of political representation!

We ask ourselves, sometimes daily, why do I have this weakness? What keeps me from achieving success, why am I living just barely above my means, why can’t I hold a steady relationship, what is the purpose of all of this? These questions plague you for good reason, because there has never been an answer given to you. Until now.

The World tends to look on those who are struggling, and say “There must be something wrong with them”. You, and the Society of Rebirth and Ascension know this is untrue. Yes, we may all be human, and we do all have faults, but there is something more to this. Our emails are filled with questions such as: “Why are there people out there who are more successfully, more happy, than I am, and yet lack any redeeming qualities?”

The answer is simple, the more ignorant someone is, the easier it is for them to ignore the conditioning that has blinded those of us who actually read between the lines. Remember, the first step in changing anything, is to first analyze the past. Master Kurobi makes this formulation of a baseline a critical part of any transformation. Be it physical (you must track your weight/food intake etc.), emotional, or spiritual. Therefore, the Society of Rebirth and Ascension offers you this step on the road to self-actualization:

Start a journal, or a diary. Chronicle your feelings, write down any questions that may have arisen during the day. Removing negative energy, and building a positive mental attitude. Nothing shuts down and renders the mind feeble like the advances of fear. Fear is fed by negativity, a lack of confidence, and is combated by a positive mental attitude. Having an optimistic outlook on life, and yourself, is the first step of self-denial. Once you have a positive outlook, you can address your weaknesses in a constructive manner, and overcome them. This is different than exaggerating them, and letting anxiety and paranoia cripple your life.

We often make the decision to transform our life, either to lose weight, become more sociable, quit smoking, or become truly content. Too often, we make that decision and then search for a quick-fix, when there is none. Yes, the SRAA provides a Path to achieve that personal fulfillment, but we do require initiates to invest something far deeper than money. We require an honest investment of effort. For when you invest something real, you get back a return far greater than the work put in.

Although the SRAA offers free counseling to non-members, the sacraments and Path are only shown to those who have proven to us and themselves that they are ready to make a Rebirth. So many unfortunate people sincerely seeking a solution are led astray by “e-kits” or some “equipment” that purportedly will help them achieve their goal. They find their monetary investment hollow, and unrewarding, for they have not yet experienced a denial of themselves.

The SRAA offers a chance to truly change another person’s life for the better and in the process transform yours, as you take the first steps on the Path. Congratulations to our newest Journeyman, Jonathan R.!

A young college student, facing thousands in debt, working three jobs to try and pay for his tuition – Jonathan was initially drawn to the SRAA by “This idea of self-fulfillment” and that “[he] couldn’t perceive the world as it really was, and was wandering around like a rat in a maze.”

Jonathan accepted the offer to receive the first sacrament on the Path, and to join the SRAA as a Journeyman. His experience during the meditation is as follows (With the non-public parts of the ritual edited out):

“The Arbiters led me to ***** home, where I was asked to reaffirm my commitment to Rebirth. I did so, and then gave the first Oath. At this time, Master Musubi-Kurobi himself offered and explain the Sacred Sage, its purpose and use. I was asked if I wished to utilize the Sacrament and become a Journeyman, or refrain and attempt my journey as a Seeker. I accepted, and was led to the *****.”

The ritual is set up, and begins. With Master Kurobi administering the Sacred Sage. Jonathan attempts to relate his experiences.

“The voice of Master Kurobi became something greater, I closed my eyes and each word became a new dimension on the inside of my lids. No longer English nouns or verbs, but cosmic entities of astounding color and motion. I felt a presence in this new universe, and understood it to be my past self, and I realized that I had been living without knowledge of this underlying expanse, this true reality. Hours later, after I had returned from my meditation, I felt cleansed and happy, truly content for the first time in my adult life, like a child that has grasped some important concept.”

Again, the initiates of all levels wish to welcome their newest Brother onto the Path.

Over six hundred thousand jobs have been lost this past April. That is six hundred thousand men and women who suddenly find themselves gripped with fear for the future. You have been told that some jobs, some occupations, are not seemly, are the refugee of the lazy. That we can be happy with the same means of our great ancestors, living in relative poverty, but boiling with joy. Part of the transformation of the initiate into a Journeyman of the Path, requires a physical change. Most people have an unfortunately negative body image, when in fact our mass-culture has irresponsibly failed yet again to give us a true model of health. Members of the SRAA are dedicated to helping all people achieve their physical goals, and assist initiates in meeting the physical (and mental) standards of the Path.

For those of you who are not yet ready to take the plunge, and begin your journey on the Path, Master Kurobi has compiled several free software tools that can help you achieve better physical success.

The first part of making progress in any field, is to establish a baseline. For weightloss (or for those who are skinny and looking to add weight), this means a daily catalog of your meals and calories consumed. Once you know what your baseline needs are, it becomes a simple matter to determine what you should consume, no need for expense plans sold by greedy companies, the following tool is free and used throughout the fitness community. It was recommended to Master Kurobi several years ago, and since then has been a central part of SRAA physical programs.

Another important baseline, is your exercise, or daily routine. This can range from wishing to do a weekly biking route, or a daily facial cleanse to cure acne. For this, another free website, Joesgoals can be used. Simply set http://www.joesgoals.com/ as your home page and register a free account. It easily allows you to set goals, and keep track of your baseline progress.

The SRAA also maintains several fitness pamphlets, books, and other resources for initiates into the society.

Use the above tools to establish a baseline for yourself, and look for future updates on simple measures to achieve the healthy body you’ve always wanted.

The SRAA offers a challenge to those of us dealing with the breakup of a relationship. No-contact with the former partner and no regrets over what you may have believed to have been destiny: Take just half of a month and do this. Use the time to work on creating yourself in a new image, go to the gym, begin a new diet, or get a change in hairstyle. If you were meant to be with this other person, then you will return from this temporary hiatus more attractive to them than ever, and if love had blinded you, this break and the focus on yourself may lead you to a freedom you would have otherwise never had.

All too often, we choose to live our lives in chains. For we lack the perception to see things as they really are. It often requires a radical change before you can see that what you thought was the light of your future, was really a cold brick dragging you down. Sometimes, the result is not so extreme, but equally valuable, showing us what we need to be in order to gain the love and respect of those around us.

That is the ultimate end of enlightenment, and the fruit of following the Path: Giving you insight into reality, which allows you to finally become all that you are capable of being.

This recession has affected those from all walks of life. From students whose future is suddenly bleak, to those working poor who find that Government relief efforts are aimed towards the corporations rather than the unfortunate. Suicide numbers are at the highest they have ever been in our nation, in part due to this sudden economic collapse. Without the lifestyle or future people had been told to expect, they found themselves searching for a greater meaning to life, a meaning that the mass culture could not provide.

We have been taught to expect a life of luxury, raised on promises of success and independence. The reality is that while we were being taught to expect these things, we were being blindfolded to the truth, shepherded away from the actual means to attain that success. For generations, our minds have been clogged with false information, and it is time to free ourselves from the crushing weight of false ideals.

The Society of Rebirth and Ascension uses the traditional concepts of self-denial to measure the readiness of candidates to experience the mysteries of the Sacred Sage. A legal herb, lovingly crafted by Master Kurobi, its incense opens the pathways of mind. Those who experience guided meditation soon after the administration of this first sacrament, have taken a great swing at the chains of their past life, and are ready to be reborn as Journeymen.

Of course, the Sacred Sage is not necessary: Master Kurobi and the First Arbiters of the SRAA all achieved their meditation and journey without it, however, it is a powerful tool, and drastically increases the speed at which a new initiate can exorcise their inner demons, and receive true sight.

Welcome! If you have found this page, then you have doubtless experienced a longing for something deeper and more meaningful throughout your life. Master Kurobi has spent his entire life compiling the dogma and traditions of the worlds religions, seeking common ground and building a path that will lead you to a fulfilling life.
